Big announcement coming on June 9th!

NFFTY

In late April, I visited Seattle for the National Film Festival For Talented Youth (NFFTY), seeing family, some old friends, and screening As Beautiful Inside. In addition, three films I sound designed - Buckets, Hell You Talmbout, and Crop - also screened there. Buckets won Best Narrative Short and Hell You Talmbout won an audience award. Pictures below.

Sonoma International Film Festival

Ian, me, and my family flew to San Francisco to attend the world premiere of As Beautiful Inside at Sonoma International Film Festival in late March. Saw many sights and drank a lot of wine. Pictures below.

Creatively Connected Online Film Festival

First Night Out is part of the Creatively Connected Online Film Festival, put on by the Foundation for Arts & Healing. The festival seeks to highlight public health concerns. This year's theme is loneliness and isolation.

Sound Design: BUCKETS World Premiere @ Tribeca Film Festival

Great news: Buckets, a film directed by Julia Jones, with sound design and mix by yours truly, will premiere at the Tribeca Film Festival 2017 in New York, NY! This experimental short (with a dash of horror) concerns a girl learning the brutal sacrifices it takes to satisfy her love.

Directing: AS BEAUTIFUL INSIDE World Premiere at Sonoma International Film Festival

I'm very excited to announce that As Beautiful Inside, a short documentary directed by yours truly, will have its world premiere at the 20th Annual Sonoma International Film Festival in Sonoma, California. The documentary concerns my close-knit Tennessee family as they contemplate the character and legacy of my grandfather, through the furniture he made for us.

The film will play before Strad Style, the Slamdance award-winning feature documentary by Stefan Avalos.

A trailer has been posted for As Beautiful Inside, my short documentary.

The film concerns a tight-knit Tennessee family (my own) as they contemplate the character and legacy of a grandfather, through the furniture he made for them.

Sound Design: 'The Mess He Made' @ SXSW

'The Mess He Made,' a short film with sound design by yours truly, will be having its world premiere at SXSW, taking place in Austin, Texas, March 10-19. The film is written and directed by Matthew Puccini, with cinematography by Brandon Roots (King Jack). Congrats to everyone involved!

'Late,' a short film for I'm the director of photography, has successfully raised its $15,000 goal on Kickstarter and will start production on February 11.

Cinematography: Donate to LATE, by Tatiana Baccari

Please consider donating to the Kickstarter for 'Late,' a short film written by Tatianna Baccari. The film details the experience of a young woman after she misses her birth control pill and worries about the consequences throughout the day.

The film will be directed by Matthew Echelman, with cinematography by Will Mayo.
