THE ADULTERERS coming to SUNDANCE NOW
I was post supervisor and editor for The Adulterers, which premiered at Sundance Film Festival last year, and will now be premiering on March 14th on Sundance Now. Time to get that one-month free subscription, babies!
I’ve posted this before, but here’s an intro video about the series with creators Tonya Glanz and Chris Roberti, which I helped produce and edit for Sundance Film Festival 2018.
Tithes and Offerings at Clermont-Ferrand Short Film Festival 2019
Tithes and Offerings, a short I edited, premiered at Clermont-Ferrand earlier last month. A huge congratulations to Tony Koros, writer and director, for this great achievement! A clip from the film can be found in my new 2019 reel.
SAME BOAT premiering at Cinequest 2019
CHANDLER is online!
Did you see CHANDLER? I produced, edited, and sound designed this beautiful short by my close friend Julia Kennelly.
I was invited to participate in Touché, a hilarious podcast by super talented actors Jenn Harris and Jeff Hiller! Subjects: growing up, beginnings of filmmaking, working as a filmmaker, As Beautiful Inside... etc.
Career Day, a short directed by Ashley Deckman, will be having its West Coast premiere at Palm Springs International ShortFest. I edited and sound designed the film, which was produced at New York University's Tisch School of the Arts. Congratulations to everyone involved! I hope it isn't 125 degrees like it was last year.
Come join me and the cast and crew of Chandler for two screenings at The Lower East Side Film Festival!
Q&A to follow screenings!
Chandler is a short written and directed by Julia Kennelly. Produced, edited and sound designed by yours truly.
Great news: CHANDLER, written and directed by my dear friend Julia Kennelly, is having its world premiere at Atlanta Film Festival on April 19 at 6:15pm! Location: the Hilan Theatre.
I produced, edited, and sound designed the short for Dream City, a company helmed by Julia, Daisy Zhou, and Karine Benzaria. The trailer I cut has had its official debut. Check it out above!
The Wasserman Awards Finalists and Craft Awards for NYU's First Run Festival were announced yesterday. I was fortunate enough to win two Craft Awards for Sound Design for a graduate film, Hasim October, by Swetha Regunathan, and for an undergraduate film, Alientologists, by Tyler Rabinowitz. The latter film was a Wasserman finalist and could win up to $10,000 when the winners are announced in March. Cheers!
Thank you to Elaina Sauber of The Tennessean for this interview about the process of making As Beautiful Inside! It is a pleasure and an honor to be featured. Link below. Beautiful photos by Josie Norris, featuring a happy mom.
GHOSTFISH is live! Written and directed by Ian Scott McGregor and I, the film stars veteran Annie Golden and was made for Kodak using their new, soon-to-be-released Super 8mm camera.
Produced by Julia Kennelly, Will Mayo, & Ian Scott McGregor
Titles and Animation by Ryan Junell
Kodak had Ian, Annie, and me on their podcast, The Kodakery, to discuss making the film and what using the camera meant to us (among other things). Are you cleaning your house today? Then give it a listen.
Ghostfish Premiere: January 2018
Ghostfish, a new short film I co-directed and wrote with Ian Scott McGregor for Kodak Super 8, will premiere at the Consumer Electronic Show on January 7th, 2018 in Las Vegas. The film will appear online around that time.
Stay tuned for a podcast featuring me, Ian, and actress Annie Golden, talking with Kodak about what shooting with their new Super 8mm camera meant to us.
Thank You Helping Make As Beautiful Inside a Vimeo Staff Pick!
As Beautiful Inside's online release in mid-November was very successful, thanks to everyone who shared and liked the film. We got the highly-coveted 'Vimeo Staff Pick' badge, and since then has garnered 22,000+ views.
Stay tuned for an interview with me and my mom about the film!
The Adulterers at Sundance Film Festival 2018
A series on which I served as post producer and editor, The Adulterers, is an official selection of Sundance Film Festival 2018. I'll be attending the festival along with show creators Tonya Glanz and Chris Roberti, as well as a few others. We're screaming on the inside.
Here's a lil video about the series that I helped make!
Did you see Secondhand, the film Ian Scott McGregor and I made for Conde Nast's The Scene back in October?
